Edible Christmas sleigh

An edible centerpiece built from candy and cookies — equal parts craft and dessert, and always a hit at a kids' table.

You'll need

• 2 rectangular cookies or graham crackers, for the base
• Candy canes, for the runners
• Small candies and pretzel sticks, for the sides
• Royal icing, as glue

How to make it

1. Glue two candy canes beneath a cookie base to form the sleigh's runners.
2. Build up the sides with pretzel sticks and small candies, gluing as you go.
3. Let dry fully before filling with mini candies as "cargo."
4. Display on a platter dusted with powdered sugar "snow."
