Spice ornaments

Built entirely from whole spices, these ornaments look rustic and elegant, and scent the tree naturally without any dough or baking.

You'll need

Bundle 3–4 cinnamon sticks together and tie tightly with twine, leaving a loop for hanging.
Tuck a star anise and a small dried orange slice into the twine wrap.
Repeat to make a set, varying the arrangement slightly for visual interest.
Hang directly on the tree — no sealant needed.
